I was a month and an half behind on my payments, had spoken to them on the phone, then, I get this notice in the mail telling me that if I don't pay the full amount two days hence, the contract will be escalated and they will pursue reposession. Their website and all phone numbers don't work, so I can't call and talk to them at all!

They don't give a date for when they're back online, just that they 're trying to make the customer service better and they'll be back soon.

This is absolutely unacceptable and I am now reading lots of horror stories online about how uncooperative their CSRs are and how difficult it is to get one of these notices rescinded. If I have to get an attorney, I will do it in a heartbeat.

Reason of review: Cannot Contact to resolve issue.

Preferred solution: Let the company propose a solution.

My car was repossessed in the middle of the night too. I had already spoken with Gm financial about the next time I could make a payment.

They said okay. I get up early to go to work and no car. Mind you the arrangement for payment was set up in advance. I called them and it took forever to get through.

At first the lady acted as if it didnt happen. Then she stated that she saw where I had set up a payment arrangement. She said if i want my car back i had to basically pay off the car. Really, that isnt possible.

So now three months later still nothing from gm financial about the repossession.

I am so done with them. By the way, I did not get any notice from them.

same thing happened to me. I made a payment arrangement with them at noon, and at 3:00 I was able to make it to walgreens and send the money western union, as I am walking out to my car to call her with the western union number...my car is already towed up in the parking lot.

WTF?? I just sent you the money, I immediately called the lady back and said I just sent you the money and she's just like all well.... too late. are you kidding me?

your voicemail stated we had a few days, I called you back right away and made the arrangement and during that time we hung up, you processed the repo, and the guy had time to come from Wauconda which is half hour away easily and come track me down at walgreens. I don't think that was right. that was a shady *** agreement!! so now my car is at the repo lot and I don't even know if I want the damn thing back now.

customer service reps are liars!! but of course it's the consumers fault for defaulting the loan, but they can make shady *** agreements and not hold up to their word! then she acted like it was all okay, just hand over the key fob and don't make a scene. I wanted to yell so bad!

Now I am not sure they will reinstate my loan or if I have to pay it in full. waiting to hear from them.

at least you got a notice in the mail my car was repossessed 3pm in the morning . I had to get my son to take me to work and how do GM think payments will be made if customer cannot get to work. I paid online and thought it went through because thank you for your payment in an email a month ago and they tell me when making another payment that it did not clear.This is the second finance company that has the worst system and Im taking a chance and fix the 1998 Dodge Caravan may have better outcome
