Resolved: GM know that Rick Hendricks be selling defect trucks

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
AI Highlights
  • - Rep offered to file a complaint about my GM-financed 2024 Trailblazer.
  • - I've paid on time; GM should audit Rick Hendrick over the truck issue.

Spoke with a rep. She stated that she was going to file a complaint on my behalf because my 2024 Chevy Trailblazer was financed through GM.

I purchased it at Rick Hendrick. She said to me to report this company to as many places as possible and told me they have had many complaints. This is my second new car financed through GM, and I have never missed a payment nor been late. GM needs to flag Hendrick's, and the lady at Rick Hendrick stated that some other lady called about her truck.

I have a recording from the dealership, and they need to audit that dealership. Why else wouldn't they want to take care of the matter? I bought the truck from there, cheating self. GM needs to be adult as well to see how many people have been screwed.

Who the *** wants to pay a truck payment and the darn truck just stops after 9 months and pay for a rental car? A good, honest dealer would put you in a loaner or rental. That unprofessional grace at Rick Hendrick thought she was going to deceive, playing games in a trick.

Audit GM and Rick Hendrick and don't do business with them. My two vehicles that I got from GM Financial were financed.

Preferred solution: Full refund

User's recommendation: They dishonest

If a GM rep really told you the dealer had many complaints, volunteered to file a complaint for you and encouraged you to file complaints on other sites, she won’t have a job next week. Those calls are recorded. Nice try with your fairy tale.

The GM Financial scammy lease company

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
AI Highlights
  • - We returned the car with 15,000 fewer miles and were charged $1,008.99.
  • - Tire depth claim of 2/32 seems questionable; credit reporting was threatened.

The GM Financial is by far the most untrustworthy and scammy lease company Ive ever dealt with. After returning our leased vehicle with 15,000 fewer miles than allowed, we were shocked to receive a $1,008.99 charge.

Wed think returning a car in better-than-expected condition would work in our favor, especially considering the vehicle now holds greater resale value for them with fewer miles. Instead, we were slapped with a charge for a tire supposedly measuring 2/32", a highly questionable and arbitrary claim.

When we reached out to discuss the issue, the representative we spoke with, Tera, showed no intention of resolving it reasonably. Rather than engaging in any meaningful dialogue or showing empathy, she simply issued a veiled threat to report the outstanding balance to credit bureaus, harming our credit score if the full balance wasnt paid, despite the obvious unfairness of the charge.

In an effort to settle things amicably, we even offered to pay $808.99 if they would reduce the charge by just $200. That too was dismissed without consideration.

Its clear that GM Financial does not care about their customers, only about squeezing every dollar they can out of the customers. The behavior suggests that their employees are more motivated by commissions than customer service.

This was a truly unpleasant and frustrating experience. I strongly urge anyone considering GM Financial to look elsewhere.

There are far more professional and customer-oriented lease companies out there. Do yourself a favor and stay away from GM Financial.

Loss:
$1008
Cons:
  • Scam customers

Preferred solution: Apology

Here’s the thing. If I’m the person buying that car you turned in, I want 4 of the same brand tires at 6/32 or more on the car.

I don’t know what was/wasn’t with your car but 4/32 much less 2/32 is not acceptable. Neither the dealer nor I should eat that cost.

I made a payment yesterday the 25th of April. I have a confirmation email from GM financial.

For some reason my bank shows payment 4/28 when today is 4/26 and I made it 4/25. The email from GM is the 25th. The date shown on my Wells Fargo website is 4/28. So payment was made on time and confirmed.

Just wanted to make sure this was explained and the issue is understood. I have a screen shot of my bank statement and the email. Thanks 512576**** please when open let me know that this was resolved.

Below is the photo , this message was sent the 26th to show that the photo was taken today. Thanks

Original review updated Mar 25, 2024

If you are calling GM financial on Monday , Tuesday or Friday they have over 300 people calling from 8am-4pm. If you are wondering why your statement does not show a payment, that means you paid before the statement was made which is created 20 days before your due date.

If you have no title that means your state is an electronic title so GMF do not hold your title or you live in an owner held state you should have received title 30-45 days after you purchased the vehicle.

please read the letter telling you how to get from state instead of throwing it away. You can also contact GM Financial by texting 53721 and GMF is open 8am-6pm CST
